ElectrifyNow ("we," "us," or "our") operates electrifynow.io (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you use our savings calculator or submit our quote request form, you may provide:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• ZIP code
• Home ownership status
• Technologies you're interested in (e.g., solar, EV, heat pump, water heater)
• Any additional notes you choose to include
• Your monthly electric bill amount (used only to run the on-page savings estimate)

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, general location (city/region level), device type, and which features (like the savings calculator or quote form) are used. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects data on our behalf under Google's Privacy Policy. This data is aggregated and is not used by us to identify you individually.

We also store your ZIP code in your browser's local storage so the calculator can remember it on your next visit. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us unless you submit the quote form.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To run the savings calculator and show you personalized estimates
• To connect you with local installers in our network when you opt in on the quote request form
• To respond to inquiries you send us directly (e.g., via email)
• To understand and improve how the Site is used

3. When We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• Local installers: If you check the opt-in box on the quote request form, the information you submitted (name, email, phone, ZIP code, home ownership status, technologies of interest, and notes) is shared with one or more independent, local installers in our network so they can contact you with a quote. ElectrifyNow is not itself a contractor and does not perform installation work.
• Service providers: We use Airtable to store and manage quote requests, and Google Analytics for site analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ElectrifyNow, our users, or others.

4. Data Retention

We retain quote request information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose you submitted it for, or until you request deletion (see Section 6).

5. Cookies

The Site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the Site will still function, but analytics won't be able to attribute your visit.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain sharing. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@electrifynow.io. We will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
