Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of electrifynow.io (the "Site"), operated by ElectrifyNow ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What ElectrifyNow Does

ElectrifyNow provides a free online calculator that estimates potential savings from switching to electric technologies (such as EVs, heat pumps, and solar), a form that lets you request a quote from local installers in our network, and an application form for installers who wish to join that network. We are not a contractor, installer, or utility, and we do not sell or install any equipment ourselves.

2. Estimates Only, Not Guarantees

The savings figures, charts, and comparisons shown by the calculator are estimates based on the information you enter, generalized utility rate data, and simplified assumptions about energy usage. They are provided for informational purposes only and are not a guarantee, quote, or promise of actual savings, pricing, or performance. Your actual costs and savings will vary based on your specific home, usage, equipment, installer pricing, and utility rates.

3. Quote Requests, Consent to Be Contacted, and Local Installers

If you submit the quote request form and opt in to be contacted, we will share your information with one or more independent local installers in our network matched to your ZIP code so they can reach out to you directly. By checking the consent box, you provide your express written consent for ElectrifyNow and those installers to contact you at the phone number and email address you provided — including by live phone calls, text (SMS/MMS) messages, and emails, and including calls or texts placed using automated telephone dialing technology or artificial/prerecorded voice — even if your number is on a federal, state, or company Do-Not-Call registry. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message or emailing info@electrifynow.io; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Installers in our network are independent third parties, not our employees, agents, or partners. ElectrifyNow does not control, endorse, warrant, or take responsibility for the pricing, workmanship, licensing, insurance, availability, or conduct of any installer. Any agreement you enter into with an installer is solely between you and that installer.

If you apply to join our installer network, you consent to ElectrifyNow contacting you by phone, text, or email — including through automated technology — about your application and network participation, with the same opt-out options.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or someone else's personal information through our forms
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Site's content or code beyond normal browsing

5. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, text, graphics, and underlying code are owned by ElectrifyNow or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use, but may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without our permission.

6. Third-Party Services

The Site uses third-party services, including Google Analytics (usage analytics) and Airtable (storing quote requests). Your use of the Site is also subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how your data is handled.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its calculator are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimates will match your actual results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ElectrifyNow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Site, reliance on any estimate it provides, or your dealings with any installer contacted through the Site.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
